The Vice President called the Adipura award on this occasion a record for giving so many awards.
Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya explained, 146 Adipura consisted of 1 Adipura Kencana, 119 Adipura, 10 Adipura certificates, 5 Adipura plaques, and a waste reduction performance award for 11 municipal districts.
Lebak Regency is one of the recipient regions of Anugerah Adipura, it is an area that is able to show good environmental management performance, through long assessments with deep criteria so that as many as 119 cities get the Adipura award.
The Lebak Regent appreciated the adipura award he had won, and also explained that this award was not only the Regional Government's business role but was the result of hard work with all elements of society in maintaining cleanliness and beauty, so that one of the Adipura award awards was received when this.
"Actually, this day coincided with the end of my term as Lebak Regent. The 2014-2019 period, and this adipura became the most beautiful gift for the people of Lebak Regency and hopefully this will be a motivation for the community to maintain a clean, healthy environment and work together with their hearts. "Said the Regent of Lebak.
Iti Octavia also thanked all the people who have jointly committed to building synergies related to waste management and keeping the environment clean.
"This Adipura award is not the end of everything but it is the beginning, where maintaining it will be more difficult than achieving it, so that there is a need for synergy and joint committees so that we can maintain it again" concluded Iti Octavia
