SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru Graduated 191 Students and Encourages to Continue to SMA or SMK

Pekanbaru – SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru has officially graduated 191 students for the 2025/2026 academic year. The school expressed hope that all graduates will continue their education to the next level according to their interests, abilities, and family support.

A total of 191 students successfully completed their studies at the school this year.

“My hope is that they will all continue their education to a higher level in accordance with their abilities and aspirations,” said Doddy Yudhianto, Principal of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, following the farewell ceremony held in the schoolyard on Wednesday (3/6/2026).

The graduates now have significant opportunities to further develop their potential at senior high schools (SMA) or vocational high schools (SMK). Socialization of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for SMA and SMK is scheduled to begin on June 8.

Doddy encouraged the graduates to make careful school selections based on their abilities, interests, and family support.

“Choose a school that aligns with your abilities and aspirations. Support from parents is also crucial to achieving future success,” he said.

The school strongly discourages any graduate from discontinuing their education after completing junior high school, emphasizing that further education is essential preparation for the younger generation to face future challenges.

“We urge all students to remain enthusiastic about continuing their studies. Do not drop out. We hope every graduate will proceed to SMA or SMK,” Doddy added.

He also called on the graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater by consistently applying the character values and noble morals instilled during their time at SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru.

In their new learning environments, the graduates are expected to maintain positive attitudes and protect the school’s reputation. Doddy also appealed to parents to continue providing full support for their children’s education until they achieve their goals.

“We hope parents will keep guiding and supporting their children until they succeed. We certainly do not want any of them to stop their education. That is our hope,” he concluded.
