Brebes Kartininews.com - The dynamics following the 9th Branch Deliberation (Muscab) of the United Development Party (PPP) Brebes Regency have now entered a new phase.

Muhammad Zamroni, Chairman of the Muscab Steering Committee (SC), has called on all party cadres and sympathizers to remain calm and not be provoked by incomplete or misleading reports regarding the leadership structure. Zamroni emphasized that although the formateur meeting has produced a proposed composition of the management board, the decision is not yet final at the organizational level.

According to him, all results from the forum must still undergo verification at the regional level (DPW) and the central level (DPP). “Mechanically, the formateur’s results must go through further processes. The final decision lies with the DPP and must receive approval from the Party Chairman,” Zamroni told the media on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

This clarification comes after narratives circulated on social media and several news portals claiming specific vote counts as the final outcome of the Muscab. Zamroni explained that there is a fundamental misunderstanding regarding the circulating data.

He clarified that the numbers that went viral were merely the results from one element — the daily management of the DPC and the assembly — and do not represent the collective decision of the seven legitimate members of the formateur team.

“We must not let this incorrect narrative be twisted into conflict. We want to set the record straight so there are no unilateral claims that could harm the party’s solidarity at the grassroots level,” he said.

In the formateur team meeting, attended by six out of seven members, a voting mechanism was eventually used to break the deadlock.

The result was that five formateur members agreed on the proposed new leadership structure: Muhammad Sidqi as DPC Chairman, Muhammad Zamroni as Secretary, and Abdul Haris as Treasurer.

The outcome has been formalized in an official minutes document signed by the representative of the Central Java DPW as Chairman of the Formateur Team, along with four formateur members from the PAC element.

Therefore, the party urges all cadres to wait for the official Decree (SK) from the PPP DPP. The dynamics that occurred during the Muscab process are seen as part of a healthy internal democracy, as long as they are not undermined by hoax information.

“Differences of opinion are normal in politics. However, the real test for PPP Brebes is how we remain solid and united after this entire organizational process is completed,” Zamroni concluded.
