Mansata Indah Maratona Wins the Title of Modern Kartini

Grobogan - Mansata Indah Maratona has received a special award as Kartini Masa Kini (Modern Kartini) from the Grobogan Branch Management of the Nahdlatul Ulama Female Student Association (PC IPPNU Grobogan). The coronation was held during the Young Kartini Talkshow event in Grobogan on Saturday (April 25, 2026).

The conferral of this title was not merely a ceremonial event, but a form of appreciation and official recognition of Mansata’s dedication. She was recognized for her consistent embodiment of noble values, from advancing education, actively serving the community, to playing a significant role in women’s empowerment across various sectors of life.

Chairwoman of PC IPPNU Grobogan, Nailul Aslamatul Qoiriyah, explained that the figure of a modern Kartini is not only measured by the spirit of equal rights, but goes far beyond that.

“It’s not just about emancipation, but about how women can bring values, commitment, and exemplary conduct,” she said.

Mansata’s journey of career and service began in the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) environment and was further honed through her roles in various organizations, including IPPNU, PMII, Fatayat NU, and Muslimat NU.

Before entering the world of politics and government, she also worked as an educator and journalist. She currently serves as a member of the Grobogan Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) and chairs Commission D.

Even in the realm of policy-making, Mansata continues to uphold the same vision: prioritizing development in education, health, and social welfare for the community.

Mansata herself views this award as a great responsibility that must be carried out to the best of her ability. She also delivered an inspiring message to the younger generation of female students, urging them not to hesitate in creating and taking on important roles.

“Women must be confident, brave in learning, and brave in the process. Civilization is built by values and the courage to serve,” she said.

In addition to the talkshow and coronation, the event was enlivened by various interesting activities, including a beauty competition and fashion show participated in by IPPNU cadres from across Grobogan. In the performances, participants showcased clothing creations with a distinctive Nahdlatul Ulama female student style.

Through this event, PC IPPNU Grobogan hopes to nurture more young women who are not only highly knowledgeable but also independent and capable of providing real benefits to their surroundings.
