Muara Jaya Designated as Pilot Village, Receives Visit from TP PKK Jilatan Village

Paringin Kartininews.com - Muara Jaya Village in Awayan Subdistrict, Balangan Regency, has once again received a comparative study visit from outside the region. This time, the visit came from the TP PKK of Jilatan Village, Batu Ampar Subdistrict, Tanah Laut Regency, on Friday (8/5/2026).

Muara Jaya Village Head, Suhaimi, said this was the second visit from outside the region, following a previous comparative study from a village in Tanah Bumbu Regency. He expressed pride in the trust given to Muara Jaya Village as a pilot village.

"This is a visit for sharing experiences, particularly a comparative study from Jilatan Village, Batu Ampar Subdistrict. We would like to thank them and feel proud of this visit and the trust they have placed in us," he said.

Suhaimi hopes the visit can serve as a platform for sharing experiences to improve village government services, village community institutions, and TP PKK activities.

On the same occasion, Chairperson of TP PKK Jilatan Village, Pahriah, stated that Muara Jaya Village was chosen because it is considered to have made significant progress.

"This activity is a benchmarking visit to Muara Jaya Village, Awayan Subdistrict. We want to take examples from an advanced village to later apply in our own village," she said.

Meanwhile, Awayan Subdistrict Head, Muhammad, expressed thanks to Muara Jaya Village for facilitating the visit from Jilatan Village.

"As the subdistrict’s working partner, we thank the TP PKK at the regency, subdistrict, and village levels who have synergized well, so that Muara Jaya Village can become a reference for other villages and gain recognition through the media," he added.

He hopes the visit will benefit Jilatan Village, especially in community empowerment through the Independent Family Medicinal Plants Care program (Asman Toga).
