Officially Handed Over to Consumers, Wuling Eksion SPK Surpasses 1,000 Units

The event, titled the Handover Ceremony ‘Exploring Family Journeys’, marked a historic milestone in the distribution of Wuling’s most advanced 7-seater SUV to consumers in Indonesia.

A total of 25 first-batch customers attended in person to receive their vehicle keys, demonstrating the extraordinary enthusiasm for the model since its launch on April 22.

Kharismawan Awangga, Sales Director of Wuling Motors, expressed his gratitude and optimism, stating that since its introduction, the Wuling Eksion has received a very positive response from the Indonesian public.

The popularity of this SUV is not without reason. To date, Wuling has recorded more than 1,000 Surat Pemesanan Kendaraan (SPK / Vehicle Purchase Orders). Interestingly, one of the thousands of buyers is Indonesian football star Egy Maulana Vikri.

The presence of a public figure like Egy, who specifically chose the Plug-in Hybrid variant, further confirms the Eksion’s appeal as a vehicle that successfully balances an active lifestyle with modern mobility needs.

Technically, the Wuling Eksion is built on the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS), a modular platform specifically designed to accommodate electrification technology for both pure EV and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) variants.

For the PHEV variant, Wuling equips the LING Power Hybrid System, which ensures smooth performance transitions while maintaining high efficiency. Battery safety is guaranteed by the MAGIC Battery Pro technology.

For families who prioritize comfort, the Eksion offers a very spacious cabin with luxurious touches, including a panoramic sunroof and a luggage capacity of up to 1,788 liters.

In terms of range, the EV variant can reach up to 530 km, while the PHEV variant provides extra peace of mind with a combined range exceeding 1,000 km based on CLTC testing.

As a token of appreciation to customers, Wuling has also announced that it is still accepting orders from the first 2,000 customers through the Early Bird program, which includes free periodic maintenance.
