Kediri, Kartininews.com - In order to welcome the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1447 Hijriyah, PIPAS Kediri Prison Branch participated in the national religious study activity held by PIPAS Pusat online through the Zoom Meeting application on Wednesday (25/06/2025).
This activity is an important moment to strengthen spirituality as well as strengthen friendship between PIPAS members from all over Indonesia.
The Head of PIPAS Kediri Prison Branch, Nayli Solichin, led the participation in this activity directly. Accompanied by the management and active members, PIPAS Kediri Prison Branch showed enthusiasm and sincerity in enlivening the activity which carried the theme "Spreading Love in the Month of Muharram, Exploring Self-Potential to Become an Empowered Woman in Any Condition."
During the activity, the members participated in a series of events starting from the opening, remarks from the PIPAS General Chairperson, to the tausiyah session delivered by resource person Angelina Sondakh. Despite participating online, the spirit and solemnity were maintained, reflected in the enthusiasm and interaction of the participants during the event.
The pengajian activity was even more lively with the performance of angklung art from PIPAS Cikarang Prison Branch. This cultural entertainment was a refreshing atmosphere before the main pengajian session began, and provided inspiration for other branches including PIPAS Kediri Prison in developing the potential and creativity of its members.
The Head of PIPAS Kediri Prison Branch, Nayli Solichin, said that her involvement in this activity was part of a commitment to continue developing the potential of women in the correctional environment. She also appreciated PIPAS Pusat for holding this inspiring and meaningful activity.
By participating in this pengajian, PIPAS Kediri Prison Branch hopes to be able to foster a positive spirit of hijrah and build solidarity among all PIPAS members, both at the central and regional levels.
