Aniar Novianti, Kudus Volleyball Athlete, Becomes Tourism Ambassador
Kudus Kartininews.com - Aniar Novianti, a volleyball athlete and Psychology student at Muria Kudus University (UMK), has proven that consistency and hard work can lead to success. The Kudus-born woman was selected as the Kudus Tourism Ambassador 2023.
Aniar’s journey to success began during her high school years. In addition to excelling academically in the science stream (IPA), she was actively involved in volleyball extracurricular activities.
“Since I was little, I’ve always loved sports, especially volleyball. But now, my hobbies have also developed — I enjoy traveling,” said Aniar.
Her interest in sports and tourism continued into university. At UMK, she was active in the sports student activity unit (UKM) and served as Secretary for two terms. This organizational experience sharpened her leadership skills.
The opportunity to become Kudus Tourism Ambassador came toward the end of her studies. After seeing the information on the official Disbudpar Kudus account, Aniar bravely decided to register.
“At first, I just wanted to develop myself. But once I got involved, I realized this activity could be a way to be more useful, especially in promoting Kudus tourism,” she explained.
Aniar managed to beat around 40 other participants. Mental readiness and organizational experience were the keys to her success. She also learned a lot from senior ambassadors and deepened her knowledge of cultural and tourism issues in Central Java.
For Aniar, her interest in tourism is not just a hobby, but a mission. She wants to introduce the potential of Kudus Regency to both local and international communities.
“Kudus has extraordinary cultural and natural wealth, it just needs to be promoted with the right strategy,” she added.
As Kudus Tourism Ambassador, Aniar has become a representation of Kudus’ active and accomplished young generation. Her story is inspiring, proving that with intention and effort, women can play important roles in regional development.
