Parigi Moutong Regency Government Synchronizes Village and Sub-District Programs

Parigi Moutong — The Parigi Moutong Regency Government is continuing to strengthen the synchronization of village and sub-district development programs to ensure that implemented initiatives truly address the needs of the community. This effort was carried out through a working meeting with sub-district governments, village heads, BPD Chairpersons, and regional apparatus at the Torono Village Pendopo, Sausu Sub-district, on Wednesday (7/5/2026).

The working meeting was directly led by Parigi Moutong Regent Erwin Burase as part of the local government’s working visit agenda in the Sausu and Balinggi Sub-districts.

In his remarks, the Regent emphasized that the forum serves as a strategic dialogue space between the regency government and village governments to absorb community aspirations and map priority development needs in each area.

“Through forums like this, the local government can hear directly the aspirations of the people from villages and sub-districts, so that planned development programs are truly in line with needs and on target,” said Erwin Burase.

According to him, the results of the working meeting will be used as consideration in preparing regional development programs, including synchronizing the outcomes of Musrenbang (development planning meetings) and aspirations conveyed through the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD).

He also called on all elements of the regency and village governments to strengthen synergy in order to accelerate development, particularly in infrastructure and basic public services.

Various needs such as village infrastructure development, river normalization, improvement of production road access, and strengthening of basic services remain a focus of the local government and will be implemented gradually according to budget capacity.

In addition to discussing regional development, the Parigi Moutong Regency Government, together with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, also handed over compensation and benefits from the employment social security program to the community and vulnerable workers.

The assistance provided includes Rp70 million in work accident insurance compensation, Rp42 million in death benefit compensation, and educational scholarships up to undergraduate level with a maximum value of Rp82.5 million for heirs of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants.

The local government is also continuing to strengthen the “Gerbang Desa Sejahtera Bersama” (Prosperous Village Gateway) Program by expanding employment social security protection for village institutional workers and vulnerable workers in Parigi Moutong.

On the other hand, the Regent also pushed for the acceleration of establishing Merah Putih Village Cooperatives as a step to strengthen village economies and empower communities based on local potential.

Meanwhile, Parigi Moutong Regency Secretary Zulfinasran stated that coordination between the regency government and village governments needs to be continuously strengthened to optimally support the development of regional potential.

“The local government hopes that village governments will continue to strengthen coordination regarding the readiness of village business land so that the potential of each village can be developed optimally in the future,” he said.

The working meeting took place in a dialogical manner, with various inputs from village heads and regional apparatus regarding development needs in Sausu and Balinggi Sub-districts.

The forum also demonstrated the Parigi Moutong Regency Government’s commitment to building a more participatory development pattern by involving village governments as the frontline of public service and drivers of community development.
