Persija Deserved the Victory Over Persijap Jepara

Jepara kartininews.com - Persija Reaffirms Its Class in Week 30 of the 2025/26 Super League. Playing at Gelora Bumi Kartini Stadium in Jepara on Monday night (4/5/2026), the Macan Kemayoran successfully defeated hosts Persijap with a convincing score of 2-0.

The first half ended goalless. Persija’s attacking dominance had not yet managed to find gaps in Persijap’s tight defense.

Several chances were created. Shots from Eksel Runtukahu and a header from Allano Lima posed real threats, but neither produced a goal. On the other hand, Persija’s defense played with discipline and solidity, successfully neutralizing every home team attack.

Entering the second half, Persija’s pressure did not ease. They continued to increase the intensity of their attacks until the deadlock was finally broken in the 64th minute through Rayhan Hannan’s action. Capitalizing on a loose ball inside the penalty box, he unleashed a powerful right-footed shot that the opposing goalkeeper could not stop. Before going in, the ball took a slight deflection off Alaaeddine Ajaraie.

The lead was further extended toward the end of the match. Gustavo Almeida added his name to the scoresheet in the 90+8th minute. Starting from a clever pass by Jean Mota, Gustavo performed an individual run that broke through Persijap’s defense and finished it with a clinical finish.

“I think we played well. We finished this match with a 2-0 scoreline. However, even though Persijap are not in a great position in the standings, they are a well-trained team with good individual quality,” said coach Mauricio.

“In my opinion, we controlled the match well. We should have made better use of the opportunities we had, but we didn’t manage to. Still, I believe our team played a match worthy of this victory,” he added.
