Persijap vs Persija Match: Jepara Police Deploy Hundreds of Combined Personnel for Tight Security

Jepara Kartininews.com – Jepara Resort Police (Polres Jepara), Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng), have deployed 534 combined personnel to secure the BRI Liga Super 2025/2026 match between Persijap Jepara and Persija at Gelora Bumi Kartini Stadium in Jepara on Monday (4/5/2026) evening.

The security force involves personnel from the Indonesian National Police (Polri), Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Transportation Agency (Dishub), Satpol PP, stewards, match organizers, and medical teams. It also includes auxiliary personnel (BKO) from the Brimob Unit of Polda Central Java and Polres Demak. They are stationed across multiple security rings, from inside the stadium to the surrounding external areas.

In addition, officers have prepared sweeping teams to prevent flares or other dangerous objects from entering the stadium.

When contacted, Jepara Police Chief, through the Head of Public Relations of Polres Jepara, AKP Dwi Prayitna, stated that his side is fully committed to maintaining security throughout the match.

He explained that the security operation is being carried out in accordance with procedures outlined in Police Regulation (Perpol) Number 10 of 2022.

“Polres Jepara, together with all stakeholders, will work to the maximum to ensure this match runs safely, smoothly, and orderly. We also urge supporters to support their favorite team in a positive and sporting manner,” said AKP Dwi.

The Public Relations Officer added that officers are paying special attention to stadium entrance points and spectators’ belongings. Every spectator will undergo a strict inspection before entering the stands.

“We will take firm action against any attempt to bring flares, fireworks, sharp weapons, or other dangerous objects. Spectators are expected to remain orderly so as not to harm themselves or others,” he said.

Police have also prepared alternative routes for team and spectator mobility. A traffic flow management scheme has been readied to anticipate vehicle congestion after the match.

“We want to ensure that all spectators feel safe from the moment they arrive, while watching the match, until they return to their respective homes. Everything has been thoroughly prepared,” he emphasized.

In addition, Public Relations Officer AKP Dwi Prayitna also called on the public who wish to support Persijap Jepara to comply with existing security regulations.

“Of course, we invite the community to support Jepara’s pride football team in a polite manner and with mutual respect, while protecting state-built facilities so they are not damaged by irresponsible parties,” he concluded.

It is known that Persija currently sits in third place in the temporary standings with 62 points from 30 matches. The capital city team is seven points behind Persib Bandung and Borneo FC, who occupy the top two positions.

Although favored on paper, Persija is expected to find it difficult to steal points in Jepara. This is because Persijap is also fighting to stay away from the relegation zone.

Laskar Kalinyamat currently sits in 13th place with 31 points, only four points above Persis Solo, which is at the bottom of the standings.

This situation makes the Persijap vs Persija duel predicted to be a tight contest, as both teams desperately need a victory to meet their respective targets at the end of the season.
