Failed to Capitalize on Penalty, Persijap Falls to Dewa United

Serang - Dewa United Banten FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Persijap Jepara in Week 30 of the 2025/26 Super League at Indomilk Arena Stadium on Wednesday (29/4) night.
The only goal was scored by Alex Marteen from a penalty in the 52nd minute, which also became his 17th goal of the season. This result lifted Dewa United to 7th place with 47 points, while Persijap remained in 13th position with 31 points. The match was tightly contested.
Dewa United dominated the game but only broke the deadlock in the second half after VAR awarded a penalty due to a handball by a Persijap player.
In injury time, Persijap had a golden opportunity to equalize through a penalty. However, goalkeeper Sonny Stevens performed brilliantly by denying Carlos Franca’s shot and ensuring the home team’s victory remained intact.
